Narrative

Cape Fear Community College has been in continuous operation since it was first established in 1959 and currently has students enrolled in 35 degree programs (Approved Programs of Study for CFCC). As a member of the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) the College reports its semester enrollment data to NCCCS. Enrollment data by college is reported by the NCCCS in the Annual Statistical Reports and are archived on their web page (NCCCS Annual Statistical Reports).

In 2004-2005, the college enrolled 9,423 curriculum students, with 6,851 of these working toward a degree and 1,293 working toward a diploma or certificate.
