Service Learning offers participating students the opportunity to serve at a local community service organization as part of an academic class project.

Mission: To integrate into a course meaningful activities designed to help students to:

1. apply ideas and theories learned in class to service-based experiences;
2. understand their own connections to the community;
3. become civic-minded critical thinkers who are better prepared to be engaged, productive members of the community and beyond.
