The following agencies may provide resources and advocacy for children and youth. Please remember that you should contact the agency to initiate the application process; CFCC does not place students in volunteer or service learning positions in external agencies.

ACCESS Wilmington: Accessible Coastal Carolina Events Sports and Services

Cape Fear Guardian Ad Litem

 

Description:

Program that " offers enrichment opportunities to approximately 500 abused, neglected and dependent children who find themselves in the foster care system in New Hanover and Pender Counties, and supports the 150 Guardians ad Litem (GAL) who advocate in court for these children."

CFCC Child Development Center

 

Description:

"On-campus child development center to be used for the care of young children (infants to preschoolers) and training of quality early childhood professionals. It is a lab school and a model.
