Our PUSH Campaign is off to a great start!!! Push stands for Pursue and Uplift Study Habits. The goal of the PUSH campaign is to get students motivated to do well academically. Each student is asked to contribute to the groups overall monthly goal to reach 125 study hours.  So far we are already there and have exceeded our numbers. Thanks goes to our tutors Tim Lee and Stephen Phillips.  I would also like to thank all of the 3M Support staff including new members Julia Holmes and Leigh Rice.

Helping to Feed the City

3M had the pleasure of joining forces with the Cape Fear Student Sociological Society Sunday in an effort to feed homeless citizens at a well known local event called Early Bread.  The event was held at Charismatic Episcopal Church this Sunday, November 20th from 6 to 9 AM.  The church prepares breakfast and offers it to those in need at no cost simply as gesture of Christian love.  Although this was my 4th time coming out to enjoy the comradery and share in the effort to assist citizens in need, many of the volunteers were here for the first time.

I would like to thank all who helped organize the event especially CFSSS, 3M members Olujimi Jumoke, and Isaac Ortega for all of their efforts.
