				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Humanities and Fine Arts Center will be a state of the art facility that will house classroom and office space for CFCC&#8217;s growing humanities and fine arts classes. The building will include studio space for visual arts students, practice rooms for student musicians, and rehearsal space for drama students. The center will include a 1,500-seat performing arts auditorium, which will be used for college productions and events along with events and performances for the general public.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="left">Cape Fear Community College&#8217;s new Union Station project will be a major new addition to the landscape of downtown Wilmington. The project is the first building funded by the $164 million bond referendum passed by New Hanover County voters in November 2008. The local bond funds are being spent locally to provide more job training opportunities for the local community.</p>
<p align="left">Located at the corner of Front and Red Cross streets, the building will enable CFCC to better serve local citizens by providing more classrooms for general college classes, expanded health care training labs, and a student services center.</p>

<p align="left">Located at the corner of Front and Red Cross streets, the building will enable CFCC to better serve local citizens by providing more classrooms for general college classes, expanded health care training labs, and a student services center. The project also includes plans to renovate the area around Union Station to create an attractive and functional environment that will benefit students, employees, visitors and the general public.</p>
<p align="left">The building is currently being designed by LS3P Architects in Wilmington and is slated to open in 2012.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In early 2009 construction crews began work on the new Cosmetology / Wilmington Early College High School building on Cape Fear Community Colleges North Campus. This new facility will replace the aging Cosmetology building downtown and provide expanded class space  and a new home for the award winning Cosmetology department.</p>
<p>In addition to the Cosmetology department the new building will also house class space for the Wilmington Early College High School program.</p>
