She received her B.A. in English from UNCW in 1995, and her M.A. in English from UNCW in 1997. Cheryl has worked on many committees during her tenure, including serving as Faculty President. She has also coordinated and trained UNCW graduate students as teaching interns for the English department, many of whom have gone on to teaching positions at CFCC. Cheryl current serves as Lead Instructor of English 111.
