We have finally installed our first web cam. It’s primary purpose is to record and catalog the construction of Union Station. The camera is a Pan Tilt Zoom dome camera capable of 360 degree movement and an impressive zoom.
Not only does the camera provide a live video feed (which you can see in the footer of http://capefearbond.com) it can also take snapshots and deposit the jpegs in a directory on the web server. This means we can maintain a record of still shots of the campus and the constructions site.
There is much more to come as we continue to configure the device and explore it’s features and functionality.
