Why Sketchbook?

I have actively used a sketchbook since Middle School. I still have every sketchbook I’ve ever filled with drawings and ideas since 1995. What was once a obsession with popular culture and comic book characters and a major distraction from my studies has turned into a valuable asset in my career as a designer.

These days sketches of logos and layouts and websites outnumber the comic book characters and robots of my childhood but, the sketchbook is still a valuable resource for capturing the imagination and recording ideas.

Why Kaizen?

Kaizen is a Japanese philosophy that focuses on continuous improvement throughout all aspects of life by making small changes to improve whatever you are focused on. It can apply to anything, websites, professional development, relationships, hobbies, business, government or anything.
