Jenna Call

Jenna received her B.A. in English from the University of Oklahoma and her M.A. in English from Eastern Kentucky University with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Medieval Literature. She taught developmental writing, developmental reading, and composition at EKU for six years before making her way to the coast.

Here at CFCC, Jenna has taught ENG 075, 085, 095, 111, 112, and 114; she also teaches ACA 122 in the College Student Success program. Her specialty is developmental reading and writing. She has taught at Cape Fear for twelve years.

Jenna served as the ACA and Developmental Coordinator for the past several years before returning full-time to the classroom. In 2007, she received the Marilyn Goodman Anderson Excellence in Teaching Award.

Outside of the classroom, Jenna enjoys cooking, costume designing, sewing, and spending time with her husband Jeff and daughter Katie.
