Baruch in 1994.  After trading securities for five years on Wall Street, Kerrie relocated to Wilmington, NC.   Leaving behind a different life in Manhattan, Kerrie’s life in the south allowed her to continue her ambition to study and analyze literature.  In 2004, Kerrie received her M.A. in English at UNC Wilmington.

Academic interests that Kerrie enjoys include postcolonial theory, with a special emphasis on India, West Africa, and the Caribbean.  Often, her classes are thematically arranged and discussion-based, encouraging students to be dynamic thinkers, writers, and speakers.

English courses that Kerrie Holian instructs are ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 111, ENG 114, ENG 131, ENG 231, and ENG 232.  In addition, she teaches ENG 111 and ENG 114 online.
