Library Books for eReaders 101 at the New Hanover County Public Library
Learn how to checkout eBooks from North Carolina Digital Library and transfer them to compatible eReaders. A librarian from the New Hanover County Public Library will demonstrate the process of downloading library books to a Nook and a Kindle from start to finish and answer questions as time permits. Choose from the four sessions listed below. Please register.

Check out these titles, chosen by librarians, publishers, and authors as their must reads from 2011. They include fiction, history, science, sociology, and biographical items. Happy reading!

Come to our “Lunch & Learn” session to play, ask, discover, and learn about selected e-readers, including the Kindle, Nook, and Sony. A variety of e-readers will be available to play with!
Susan Wood, Librarian at the New Hanover County Public Library, will be on hand to demonstrate a variety of e-readers and to help you to access e-books from the North Carolina Digital Library.
