The Auto Repair Reference Center (ARRC) database contains the most comprehensive collection of automobile repair reference information in the market. ARRC contains information on most major manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles.
The database covers more than 37,000 vehicles from 1954 to present. Content includes millions of drawings and step-by-step photographs, approximately 110,000 technical service bulletins & recalls issued by the original equipment vehicle manufacturer, over 180,000 enhanced wiring diagrams for easy viewing and printing, specifications & maintenance schedules, Labor Time Guide & Estimator, AutoIQ, Quick Tips (a complete guide to vehicle ownership & maintenance), Diagnostic information and much more. New repair procedures, TSBs and updates are continually added to the product. All of the content in Auto Repair Reference Center has been created by ASE certified technicians.
Check out the new guide listing notable books of 2011 that the CFCC Library owns. The list is pulled from annual “Best of…” lists from sources including: Booklist, Library Journal, The New York Times, Atlantic Monthly, and Amazon. It also includes titles from award sources like the Man Booker Prize, the Pen/Faulkner Award, the National Book Award, and the National Book Critics Circle Awards. When the Pulitzers are announced on April 12, those titles will be added as well. This is an impressive list of material for your reading pleasure!! Small Business Reference Center™ provides up-to-date information on relevant topics, from starting a company, operations management and sales, to growing or rescuing a business.
The database contains nearly 400 full-text periodicals and over 450 full-text reference books to independently address a wide range of small business topics, including:
Buying/selling a business
Managing employees
Writing a business plan
Marketing a business
Understanding legal information
Many of the full-text reference books are provided through Nolo, the nation’s oldest and most-respected provider of legal information for consumers and small businesses.

Library Books for eReaders 101 at the New Hanover County Public Library
Learn how to checkout eBooks from North Carolina Digital Library and transfer them to compatible eReaders. A librarian from the New Hanover County Public Library will demonstrate the process of downloading library books to a Nook and a Kindle from start to finish and answer questions as time permits. Choose from the four sessions listed below. Please register.
