CFCC’s men’s basketball team won the NJCAA Region X Championship on March 7!

The CFCC Sea Devils pulled a 74-70 victory over Clinton Junior College in the District 10 men’s basketball championship to secure a spot in the national finals.

CFCC will compete in the 16-team national junior college championship tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas on March 17 against the champion from District 9 (Nebraska, Montana, Wyoming and Eastern Colorado).

Cape Fear was 20-12 in the regular season and entered the district tournament as the No. 5 seed with three victories over higher-seeded teams.
