Cape Fear Fair and Expo Ticket Sales to Benefit CFCC Scholarships

The Cape Fear Fair and Expo and Cape Fear Community College are pleased to announce a new partnership to provide scholarship funds to students.

Beginning this year, the fair will donate $1 of every advance ticket toward a newly established scholarship fund at CFCC.

Cape Fear Fair and Expo Manager Skip Watkins explained that the fair established the scholarship to help benefit local residents through education.

Watkins said that the fair has a three-pronged mission to support agriculture, industry and education. The scholarship will fulfill the educational component of that mission.

“We want to give back to the community to benefit as many local people as possible,” Watkins said.

Advance tickets cost $13 each, which is $3 less than the full admission price of $16 at the door.  Advance tickets are now on sale at area Scotchman stores. This year’s fair runs from Thursday, October 28 thru Saturday, November 6 at the Wilmington international airport. For more details visit or call 313-1234.
