CFCC to Offer Electrical Apprenticeship Program at Laney High School

This multiple year program carries the entry level electrical worker from the Beginner to the Journeyman level. Level I begins with the basics of safety and an introduction to math for measurements, hand and power tools, blueprint reading, and rigging. Students learn to bend and install conduit, mount boxes and receptacles, and are introduced to electrical theory. Each additional level presents more complex theory, application, and understanding of the National Electrical Code.

This class starts on September 10, 2012 and runs through May 13, 2013.  It will meet Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6pm – 9pm at Laney High School.  Attend Orientation to learn more about the program and meet the instructors.
