CFCC fall mini-session to open up more opportunities for students
Cape Fear Community College is beefing up course offerings for the fall semester by holding a special fall mini-session to help students get more classes needed for graduation.
The mini-session includes dozens of day and evening courses at both the downtown Wilmington Campus and at the North Campus in Castle Hayne. Additional online courses are also available.
According to Dr. Amanda Lee, CFCC vice president of instruction, these additional classes were added to help students who were not able to register by the fall semester deadline.
“Many of our more popular classes were full by the end of the fall registration period so the mini-session will offer students a second chance to enroll,” Dr. Lee said.
Classes in the mini-session offer the full amount of college credit, but are offered over an accelerated period of time. Classes start on Oct. 17. The last day to register is Oct. 16.
For more information, call the CFCC Admissions Office at (910) 362-7557 or email admissions@cfcc.edu.
The full schedule of courses is available here. New students must apply and complete the college application process before they can register.
