Introduction to Project Management – October 2

Project Management is the discipline of planning, organizing, securing, managing, leading, and controlling resources to achieve specific goals. This course will provide students with a basic background into the position and career as project manager, setting the stage for an expansion of knowledge in the area of managing projects and initiatives. The basics of project management are essential to projects of all sizes and a needed skillset in today’s workplace. This course will align with concepts and terms of the Project Managment Institute (PMI) and prepare the participants for the next step in learning more about project management, with a goal of future certification.  Start Date:  October 2, 2012  End Date:  November 13, 2012  Meets:  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm until 9pm at CFCC’s Wilmington Campus.  Cost:  $123.  For more information, please call 362-7319.
