Cape Fear Community College will host the annual Harvest Health, Wellness and Safety Fair on the downtown Wilmington Campus on Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Schwartz Center.
The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of the local health organizations and resources available in the Cape Fear region. The event promotes health, wellness and safety for students, employees and the general public.
The fair will feature approximately 80 vendors representing a wide variety businesses, health organizations and educational resources.
Among the services at the event include free flu shots for visitors with health insurance, free CPR demonstrations, free manicures and much more. Guests who would like a flu shot must provide a valid insurance card. The cost of a shot without insurance is $40.
All guests can park for free in CFCC’s Hanover Parking Deck. The event is sponsored by CFCC’s student development office. Admission is free.
