Students to prepare and serve three-course meal at Bluewater Grill on April 24

On Wed., April 24, students from Cape Fear Community College’s Hospitality Management program and Pineapple Guild student club will prepare and serve a three course meal at Bluewater Grill’s upstairs banquet facility.
The meal, which includes two glasses of wine or soft drinks, will cost $35.  The menu will include soup or salad, a choice of entree (Drunken Coconut Chicken, Rasta Pasta with Shrimp, or Jerk Spiced Pork Chop) and dessert. Proceeds from the event will benefit CFCC’s Pineapple Guild and hospitality education scholarships.
“Events like these are an excellent way for our students to gain real-world experience,” said Dr. Ted D. Spring, President of Cape Fear Community College.  “This will be a wonderful opportunity for the community to enjoy some delicious cuisine while supporting CFCC students. Bluewater Grill is a beautiful restaurant, and they are so generous to partner with us for this event.  I think everyone will enjoy the evening.”
