Bob Jones has joined Cape Fear Community College’s staff as Associate Director for Institutional Advancement.
Most recently, Jones previously worked for Queensboro Shirt Company and served as the Development Manager for Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center.
As associate director of institutional advancement, Jones will be responsible for helping to raise private funding for the CFCC Foundation, a non-profit organization which supports student scholarships.
Margaret Robison, Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Cape Fear Community College said she’s excited to have Jones on the college’s team.
“Bob will be a wonderful addition to our staff,” said Robison. ”He brings a wealth of experience to the table and we are so very fortunate to have him.”
Jones says he admires what Cape Fear Community College has done in the area.
“I’m pleased to become part of this fundraising team, and am dedicated to help even more students fulfill their dream of getting an education. I hope that my efforts will build on the excellent job that is already being done by the CFCC Foundation,” he said.
Jones fills a vacancy left by associate director of the CFCC Foundation Kay Warren, who recently retired from the college earlier this year
