CFCC Implements Honors Scholars Program

Cape Fear Community College has announced the commencement of a new Honors Program for its students. Eligible students should be enrolled in Associate in Arts, Associate in Science or Associate in Fine Arts degree programs and have a 3.5 GPA or above.

This rigorous program for high-achieving students is designed to challenge them and help them grow academically and personally. The benefits of being an honors scholar include smaller class sizes, priority registration, working closely with an honors advisor, and fun enrichment opportunities. Honors students will also have the opportunity to interact with other highly motivated students and become better prepared for 4-year schools and graduate school.

Interested students should attend one of the upcoming information sessions:

  • April 10 at 11:00 am
  • April 10 at 6:00 pm
  • April 16 at 10:00 am
  • April 21 at 3:00 pm
  • April 29 at 8:30 am
  • May 1 at 3:30 pm

All information sessions will be held in Union Station Room 295.
