The student will also learn the basics of setting up a spreadsheet. Using email toolbars and setting up an email account will also be learned in this introductory class. Class is April 1-May 20, 2010, Thursdays, 6:00-9:00 p.m., on the North Campus, room NA-204. Cost $73; seniors $8. Payment will be taken on the first night of class and parking decals will be issued. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to handle checks, process transactions, provide quality customer service, and provide proper bank service. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Later this month, Cape Fear Community College will offer a new class for people interested in rowing. Entitled, Rowing on the River: An Introductory Course in Recreational Rowing, the class is a four-session introduction to rowing, held in partnership with the Cape Fear River Rowing Club. The course will provide students with the knowledge and skills required to participate safely as a member of a rowing crew.  There will be some classroom participation, but the majority of the course will be on the water.</p>
<div>The class will start on March 22 and run through April 7. Classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. &#8211; 7:30 p.m. Students must be able to swim at least 50 feet and possess enough upper body strength to return to a rowing boat after entering the water. (test NOT required)</div>
