IMPORTANT STUDENT MEMO: FALL 2014 REGISTRATION CHANGES

Due to state mandated changes in certain English and Math courses, registration for currently enrolled students will be affected.  Please use the following information to guide you in course selection and registration.

ENGLISH:

If you need to register for any of the courses in the “OLD” column, please choose the corresponding course in the “NEW” column.

If you need to take one or more DMA courses for the Fall, please use the following information to guide you in course selection.

If you have difficulty in any course selection due to prerequisites, and/or registration, please talk with your advisor.  The name of your advisor is located on your Program Evaluation in WebAdvisor and was sent to you in an email from the registrar’s office.

FALL 2014 Registration Information

Friday, March 28th, 2014

Priority Registration for Fall 2014 will begin on Monday, April 21, 2014.

YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A BILL IN THE MAIL FOR FALL SEMESTER. Payment is due at the time of registration but no later than 5:00 p.m.  Wednesday, August 6, 2014.  Account statements may be viewed in WebAdvisor. Payments may be made through WebAdvisor or at the Business Office on either campus during normal business hours.

Classes for FALL 2014 begin on Friday, August 15, 2014.

Check all important dates for the current term on the Academic Calendar.

See the Financial Aid web site for important information regarding Financial Aid.

To view classes being offered for Fall 2014, go to the ‘Schedule of Classes’ from the CFCC homepage or the Registration Menu in WebAdvisor and enter the start date of 08/15/2014 and end date of 12/12/2014. Do not enter the term field. This will pull a list of all classes being offered. All first mini session section numbers end with the letter “A” and all second mini session section numbers end with the letter “Z.”

SUMMER 2014 Registration Information

Tutorial Videos for Registration and Program Evaluation

**NEW**  Check out the recently updated tutorial in the Program Evaluation Series on How to Read a Program Evaluation:  Developmental Courses.  This tutorial will answer all your questions about how to read developmental program requirements, the new math redesign, and how to register for the new DMS shell courses!!

Student Development is pleased to announce the addition of tutorial videos to the myCFCC portal homepage under the Help tab.   These are the first tutorials of an ongoing project to provide instructional tutorials to students and faculty regarding the various processes that Student Development oversees.

For current viewing are the Program Evaluation Series and the Registration Series for students.  These tutorials provide everything a student needs to know about program evaluations and registration.

These tutorials are closed captioned  so they may be viewed without the audio, if necessary.  Be sure to check out the tutorials available now and stay tuned for others that will be added throughout the year.
