Imagine getting paid to be around boats! A diploma in Boat Manufacture and Service would help you do just that.

The Boat Manufacture and Service program prepares students for employment in industries that use modern fiberglass boat construction techniques. Additionally, students are taught the fundamentals of boat service in the disciplines of plumbing, electrical, and engine systems.

This one-year diploma program is offered on the banks of the historic Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington, NC. As an accredited institution, students at Cape Fear Community College are eligible for financial aid.

Students find employment in commercial boat building industries, building boats using modern fiberglass techniques. With our courses on electrical, plumbing and engine systems students also find employment in shipyards, dealerships, and commissioning yachts.
