Cape Fear Community College’s Wilma W. Daniels Gallery is pleased to present Cape Fear Community College’s annual student exhibition, a juried group show featuring over 100 original works of art by current CFCC students. The exhibition runs from April 5th – May 6th, 2016 with a Fourth Friday reception and awards presentation on April 22nd from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Arts Council of Wilmington’s Executive Director, Rhonda Bellamy, served as this year’s juror. She selected the featured work from nearly 200 submissions.
In addition to the Fourth Friday reception, the Arts Council of Wilmington/New Hanover County, in association with Cape Fear Community College’s Humanities & Fine Arts Department, will present the inaugural Wilmington Arts Summit, April 15-16, 2016 at CFCC. The kickoff for this event will be held on Friday, April 15th from 6-9pm in CFCC’s Wilma W. Daniels Gallery. This event will provide networking opportunities by discipline and other focus areas, as well as provide an additional opportunity to view the Annual Student Exhibition. Admission to the student exhibition is free and is open to the public. Wilma W. Daniels Gallery is located in the Hanover parking deck (200 Hanover Street) on the campus of Cape Fear Community College. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday–Friday, 10-5:30pm and Saturday 12-5:30pm.
