AutoCAD Basic/Intermediate
This is a hands-on class that covers the basic and intermediate concepts of AutoCAD software. Students will learn to use the basic drawing and editing commands in AutoCAD to set up, draw, modify and dimension architectural,mechanical and civil drawings.

AutoCAD Advanced
This advanced course of the AutoCAD series will help students create command aliases, customized toolbars, palettes and ribbon panels. Additional advanced commands include attributes, tables, fields and annotative elements.

Auto Safety Control Inspection Certification
This course prepares auto technicians and service personnel as safety and emission inspectors for motor vehicles. It includes regulations and test inspection procedures and is taught to insure that the student understands the rules and regulations can inspect a vehicle properly and can successfully pass qualification exams for certification as a safety and emission inspector at a licensed inspection station.

Auto Safety & OBD Emission Inspection Certification
This course is designed to prepare auto technicians and service personnel as OBD emission inspectors for motor vehicles. Course topics include regulations and test inspection procedures required by the NC DMV – Enforcement Section – OBD emission inspectors. Upon completion a student should understand the rules, regulations and procedures for OBD emission inspections, be able to inspect a vehicle properly and be prepared to sit for the state certification exam.

Aviation Ground School
This course provides Instruction in general airplane knowledge, weather, regulations, and flight planning. Course prepares Individuals to successfully complete training and receive the F.A.A. Private Pilot license. PLEASE NOTE: According to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) guidelines, students must provide proof of U.S. citizenship or present an appropriate visa to obtain training. The following documents must be brought to the first class meeting for review by the instructor. If U.S. citizen: U.S. passport OR one of the following: birth certificate; certification of birth abroad with raised seal; certificate of U.S. citizenship with raised seal; certificate of registration; or U.S. naturalization certificate with raised seal, accompanied by government-issued picture ID. If non-U.S. citizen: appropriate visa. Student will also be required to register with TSA, submit fingerprints and photo, and pay additional $130 processing fee to the TSA.

Barber School
The Barber Training Program provides the skills necessary to become a professional barber! The program will prepare the students for the North Carolina Board Exam which will result in an apprentice license. The successful student will be qualified to work in an entry-level position in a barber shop or related business.

Career Readiness Training
Get one-on-one resume writing assistance and online job search assistance in an open lab setting with a trained professional. Also, work towards earning a nationally recognized credential, the national Career Readiness Certificate (CRC.) Gain a bronze, silver, gold or platinum status either under the supervision of a trained CRC instructor in an open lab environment or online in the comfort of your home. Class fee is waived if you are unemployed, underemployed or have received notification of a layoff.
