Cape Fear Community College Rotaract Club is sponsored by the Wilmington-Downtown Rotary and is for students 18 to 30 years-old. The club fosters leadership and responsible citizenship, encourages high ethical standards in business, and promotes international peace and understanding. The first Rotaract Club was started in 1968 at UNC-Chapel Hill. There are now over 7,000 clubs in over 150 countries. The Rotaract Club focuses on community service projects, professional development activities, and leadership development activities.
