Selection Process
- The Counseling Office will utilize a Point Count Sheet for ranking qualified applicants
- 50% of the overall points will come from the PSB exam – minimum scores are required as outlined in the Dental Hygiene Information Packet
- 50% of the overall points will come from the related High School and/or College courses completed prior to March 19
- Additional points are awarded for college degree, work experience, and attending one of the Dental Hygiene Information Sessions

- 12 Students are conditionally admitted to the Dental Hygiene Program
- Students must pass a 9-panel drug screen
- Students must complete a criminal background check as required by clinical sites. Clinical sites will review the criminal background reports. If a student cannot participate in a clinical rotation due to his/her criminal background c heck, he/she will forfeit his/her spot in the Dental Hygiene Program
Applicants will be notified about acceptance to the Dental Hygiene Program by mid-May.
