Accommodated Testing For Faculty

  • Some students who are registered with DSS, will require accommodated testing.  On occasion, the testing accommodations can be provided within the department.  For example, if the instructor is able to provide testing in a separate setting, with extended time, that may be preferable.
  • If this cannot be provided, and the student requests to test with DSS, then it is the student’s responsibility to access our website and submit an accommodated test request.
  • The instructor will automatically receive an email informing them of the request. Within the body of the email will be a link to a form that the instructor will fill out.
  • The instructor must provide DSS with the test preferably 48 hours but no later than 24 hours prior to the testing time. There are several distribution options listed within the instructor’s online form.
