Add a Welcome Announcement

About Announcements

For this activity, you will create a welcome announcement for the course. This is a good place to include information about where students should start. For example, you might tell them to access the Introduction and Syllabus sections. Be specific and do not assume that students have taken an online course before or have used Blackboard.

Also, advise students that they must complete the Enrollment Verification activity. This activity must be completed by the Census date.

In addition to a welcome announcement, courses should include at least one weekly announcement to help students stay on task, remind them of assignments due, etc.
