Conducting Research
Research is often a time consuming process, for that reason it's a good idea to get started early. I have found that when students wait too long they often discover that some of the books they need have vanished from the shelves. While it is possible to order books and articles through interlibrary loan, it may take more time for the materials to come in than students have to complete the research. Decide on a topic early in the semester; if you need help in narrowing a topic, ask your instructor. Once you have made a decision, start developing a research strategy. You need a plan and a schedule.
