Clear the home screen. Enter the class midpoints 10, 13, 16 19, 22, and 25 into L1. Enter the frequencies 3, 2, 5, 3, 6, and 4 into L2. |

Press STAT, right arrow to CALC. |

Press ENTER. With
class midpoints in L1 and corresponding frequencies in L2, press

Press ENTER to get the results. Mean = 18.5, ∑x = ∑fx
= 425, ∑x2 = ∑fx2 = 8405, and n = ∑f
= 23. All of these values can be put into the formula to get the
standard deviation, sx = s = 5.0. |
