Omar Noor Al-Deen

Omar Noor Al-Deen has taught both computer information technology ( CIT ) courses as well as business administration courses at Cape Fear Community College for fifteen years. He also has taught management at Mount Olive College (NC) as well as at Brunswick Community College (NC). Prior to that, he managed national customer service and sales for a large multi-million dollar division of an industrial firm.

Mr. Noor Al-Deen achieved a Master of Business Administration {MBA, December 1993} from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and was subsequently inducted as a member of the National Honor Society Phi Kappa Phi. He finished additional graduate work by December 2001 in distance education (DE) and web design for the Internet { Graduate Teaching Certificate in Tele-Learning , East Carolina University }. As of July 2008, Omar completed all of the courses currently provided to North Carolina Community College System faculty and staff through NC-Net (see hyperlink above left).

Lastly but by no means leastly, he has the honor to be married to Dr. Hana Noor Al-Deen (Ph.D.) who holds the academic rank of Professor at UNC-Wilmington where she has taught for more than twenty-five years.
