Boren Scholarship Information

Are you interested in studying abroad? Are you interested in building your skills in a foreign language?

Boren Scholarships provide up to $20,000 to U.S. undergraduate students to study abroad in areas of the world that are underrepresented in study abroad and critical to U.S. interests, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

The application deadline for Boren Scholarships at CFCC is February 5, 2014


About the Scholarship

Boren Awards include David L. Boren Scholarships for undergraduate students and David L. Boren Fellowships for graduate students.  They provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. students to add an important international and language component to their educations. Boren Awards focus on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study that are critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad.
