Tragic News

Suzanne M. Clarke, AFA in Music student at CFCC, drowned in the Cape Fear River on July 14, 2018.  She was a free spirit who lived on a sailboat at Cape Fear Marina.  Suzanne sang, played guitar, piano, and percussion, and enjoyed making music with others.  Music students are organizing a memorial concert, details TBA.

CFCC Drama Student Participates in “Make Trouble” Acting Training at UNCW this Summer

Elias Anderson, a CFCC Drama Student, is attending the Make Trouble actors’ training program at UNCW with a scholarship from CFCC Drama.  This five-week training session culminates in the production of two plays by Shakespeare.  Elias will play Romeo in Romeo and Juliet.  Follow the link for more details.

Jessica Gaffney, CFCC Drama Instructor, is Costume Designer for Twelfth Night at UNCW

CFCC’s Jessica Gaffney is the Costume Designer for Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in Lumina Festival of the Arts at UNCW this summer. 

Ms. Gaffney is working with several current and former CFCC students.  Delaney Golden, a former CFCC student, is the costume design assistant, and Madison Witmer, another former CFCC student, is the State Manager.  Henry Fox, a current CFCC student, is sewing costumes for the show.
