Ernesto Ferreri Composition Performed by Connecticut Virtuosi

Ernesto Ferreri, CFCC Music Instructor, had his original composition, Hymnus ad Cosmos, performed on June 1st and on 2nd of 2018 in New Britain and Hartford, Connecticut respectively by the Connecticut Virtuosi.

CFCC’s Marc Siegel to Teach Masterclass for the Guitar at UNC School of the Arts

March Siegel, CFCC Music Instructor, has been invited to teach a Masterclass for the Guitar at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC.  The course will be offered on December 7.

The Clock That Tells Nothing by JD Sharp

This striking sculpture is now on display on the 3rd floor of the Fine Arts Building.  JD Sharp is a student in the 3D design course taught by CFCC Art Instructor and sculptor Rick Conn.

CFCC Faculty and Students Participate in the Out of Darkness Walk for Suicide Prevention at Wrightsville Beach

Yuna Shin, CFCC German Instructor, was one of the organizers for the Out of Darkness Community Walk by the Wilmington Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on November 4 at Wrightsville Beach, NC.

Victoria Paige, CFCC Art Instructor and advisor to the CFCC Creative Arts Club, volunteered along with the CFCC Creative Arts Club students, who did face-painting for the event.  See the photos below:
