DRAMA

 


AUDITIONS FOR: A Southern adaptation of Medea by Euripedes

Sept. 22, 23, 24; 3:30-5:00 p.m.; E-180

Actors and support staff will be eligible for 3 credit hours

CFCC’s drama department will hold auditions for an updated version of Euripedes’ Medea, and play about a woman who avenges her husband’s betrayal in a most violent and bloody fashion.

The following roles will be cast:
Medea, an outsider to the Greeks
Jason, of the golden fleece fame and unfaithful husband to Medea
Nurse, servant of Medea
Tutor, teacher to the sons of Medea and Jason
Creon, king of Corinth
Aegus, king of Athens
3 Women of Corinth, chorus

Actors are encouraged to read the play before auditions.
