Mark your calendar — The State Health Plan’s (SHP) Annual Open Enrollment will be held October 15 – November 18, 2015.
During open enrollment, you are able to add or drop dependents (without a qualifying event) as well as switch between plans. Premiums rates for 2016 may be found here.
Beginning October 15, you will be able to update your coverage by visiting http://cfcc.hrintouch.com. Your login ID will be your first name, the first initial of your last name and the last 4 digits of your social security number. If you no longer remember your password, you can reset your account using the “Can’t Access Your Account?” link below the login section. If you still are unable to login, you can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for a password reset.
IMPORTANT: If you are on the Enhanced 80/20 Plan or Consumer-Directed Health Plan, your wellness activity credits will expire unless you complete them again during open enrollment. This means your premium will increase for 2016 if you do not take action during open enrollment.
The SHP is offering Wellness Activities to reduce your monthly premiums. These Wellness Activities may be completed at the start of Open Enrollment on October 15.
1. Update your online Health Assessment
2. Choose a Primary Care Provider (PCP) and watch an online video to learn more about Patient-Centered Medical Homes
3. Attest to being tobacco-free or enroll in the Quiteline NC tobacco-cessation program
Completing these activities can save you up to $80-$90 a month in premiums if you choose to enroll in the Enhanced 80/20 or Consumer-Directed Health Plans. The traditional 70/30 plan is still premium free for employee-only coverage.
The Health Assessment is now available for members to update and receive their premium credit. Instructions to login are available here. Click “Login to My Personal Health Portal.” You may also update the assessment by phone: 1-800-817-7044.
