This year the History Teaching Alliance has chosen to focus on Cultural History of the 1960's and beyond.  Our first event will be:

Exhibiting the Bicentennial: A Curator's Tour of Dis-Spirit of '76: Bicentennial Commemorations and the American Seventies

Place: UNC-Wilmington, Randall Library

Date:  Thursday, October 28, 2010

Time:  4:30pm

Graduate Student Curator Katie Nowack and Assistant Professor of History Tammy Gordon will lead a tour and discussion about the exhibit Dis-Spirit of '76, a graduate student curated exhibit about the ways in which Americans understood the history of the American Revolution through popular and material culture.
