NON-RESIDENTIAL DESIGN II

I.          COURSE DESCRIPTION
                This course provides an in-depth study of commercial/contract design exploring more
                comprehensive design     solutions such as health care facilities, furniture gallery design,
                and large office complexes. Emphasis is placed on design of commercial interiors and
                suitability of materials to meet ADA requirements, codes and standards.

II.        COURSE OBJECTIVES
                Upon completion, students should be able to design non-residential spaces meeting ADA
                requirements and select furniture, materials, fabrics, and accessories meeting codes and
                flammability standards.
