Syllabus
I.
Course Description
This course
provides additional studio time to investigate areas of special interest,
upgrade weaknesses, and /or capitalize on strengths.
Topics include a broad range of options, both
residential and non-residential, combining individual research and
instructional guidance
II. Course Objectives
Upon completion,
students should be able to complete the graphics, client folder and all
schedules for a professional project.
Student work should have been restructured to evidence the
best quality of work that student can produce.
III.
Course Content
- Develop skill in presentation composition and board
display for visual communication.
- Develop and restructure design projects to upgrade
and improve design concepts to portfolio presentation quality.
- Focus on conceptualization and individualization
within structure of design concept to best promote expression and
creativity of each project.
- Complete or otherwise develop additional aspects of
project package to formally produce a complete visual communication tool.
- Develop full graphic detail and other visual
information as necessary to promote design concept.
- Develop logo and presentation style to best convey
design concept of individual designer.
- Sharpen and further delineate skill in display
information, coloration, material specification, finish schedules,
contracts, data on client and other pertinent information.
