BUSINESS PRACTICES/ INTERIOR DESIGN

I.          COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course introduces contemporary business practices for interior design. Topics include employment skills, business formations, professional associations, preparation of professional contracts and correspondence, and means of compensation.

II.        COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion, students should be able to describe the basic business formations and professional associations and compose effective letters and contracts

The business course will include information as determined by the course text.

Through a series of testing devices and projects, students will be evaluated.
