Annual Program Review
Academic Program Review Process
Cape Fear Community College has a functioning Academic Program Review Process, which is a facet of its on-going planning and outcomes assessment process. A minimum of once every five years, each academic program participates in a more in-depth review to ensure course content and methodology, as well as student support services, meet the needs of students and the community.
Annually, a follow-up memo from the lead instructor is forwarded to the appropriate department chair and the academic dean addressing progress made on the recommendations from the review. The follow-up is required each year until the recommendations have been satisfied. All instructional and service-related departments or disciplines participate in the program review process.
