It’s on Us, CFCC!

Today, it’s estimated that 1 in 5 women and 1 in 16 men on college campuses have been sexually assaulted. Just 13% of those assaults are reported. It’s on us to change that!

Join the Cape Fear Family and other colleges across the nation in signing the pledge to be part of the solution at itsonus.org. When you take the pledge, you’re recognizing that non-consensual sex is sexual assault. You’re saying you’ll identify situations in which sexual assault may occur, and you’re saying you’ll intervene, when, and if it does. You’re committing to help create an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and where survivors are supported.

If you sign the pledge during Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April), EVOLVE CFCC will enter you into a drawing for a $100 VISA gift card. Simply forward your pledge confirmation email to evolve@cfcc.edu for a chance to win.
