Reference Services--Downtown Campus

The Reference Services area is located across from the Learning Lab on the second floor of the LRC Building (L-200). The reference collection includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, almanacs, atlases, journals, newspapers, and many other specialized reference sources. Reference materials may not be checked out; they are for in-house use only.

There are nine public access computers in the reference area and twenty-one additional public computers throughout the Library. These computers are for the use of CFCC students, faculty, staff, and community patrons who have a valid CFCC library card. The computers in the LRC are managed by PC Reservation and LPT1 print management software. Your library barcode number is needed to logon to our public access computers. The computers in the LRC are for library research and provide links to our online catalog, electronic databases, the Internet and have Microsoft Office 2003. Students also have access to word processing, Blackboard, and other software applications in the Learning Lab.
