North Carolina Family Records Online -- Through this collection, the State Library of North Carolina and the North Carolina State Archives seek to harness the power of the name. North Carolina Family Records Online currently contains over 200 Bible Records (lists of birth, marriage, and death information recorded in North Carolina Bibles throughout the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries). The collection also contains a six-volume index of marriage and death notices that appeared in five North Carolina newspapers from 1799-1893.

North Carolina Public Health -- Provides a site covering a wide range of programs and services, all aimed toward protecting and improving the health of the people who live and work in North Carolina. Includes information such as fish consumption advisories, ozone levels, pfisteria health precautions, links to local health departments, how to get birth certificates, etc.

North Carolina State Publications Collection - The North Carolina State Publications Collection contains both current and historical state publications produced by the agencies (Department of Public Instruction, Department of Cultural Resources, etc.) of NC State Government. The types of publications include informational brochures and pamphlets, various types of reports (annual, biennial, technical, statistical, etc.), serial publications (newsletters, checklists, magazines, etc.), handbooks, studies and a variety of other information resources produced by the government. The focus of this collection is currently on newer publications from 2002 to current. In the future it will also feature historical North Carolina publications of enduring value that have been scanned from their original print format. New publications will be added to this digital collection on a monthly basis.
