DigitalNC -- DigitalNC is the online home for materials presented by the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center. This site contains digital versions of primary sources from cultural heritage institutions around North Carolina. The materials on this site are made freely available for students, teachers, scholars, and anyone who is interested in the history and culture of North Carolina.

NC Live Health & Wellness Information Center Portal -- A user-friendly starting point for those who are searching for all types of health and wellness resources and services. Includes information from the government, hospitals and private agencies in the healthcare field, including a Spanish language database. The primary audience is the general public; but professionals would find it helpful for patient education sources.
NC Periodicals Index -- provides access to articles in regional publications that pertain to a wide range of North Carolina-related topics, including the arts, business, culture, history, law, natural resources, public policy, tourism, and travel. Coverage includes 68 current and historic publications, most of which are not indexed in standard reference tools.
North Carolina County Salaries -- Compiled by the MAPS Group for the School of Government and available exclusively online. This is a compilation of information on salaries and benefits in North Carolina counties, which is designed to meet the needs of elected and appointed officials in reviewing current personnel practices.

North Carolina Encyclopedia -- This encyclopedia is designed to give you an overview of the people, the government, the history, and the resources of North Carolina. The information is organized into the broad information categories listed below. Most of these categories offer an opportunity to select either more specific or additional information on a particular topic.
North Carolina Family Records Online -- Through this collection, the State Library of North Carolina and the North Carolina State Archives seek to harness the power of the name. North Carolina Family Records Online currently contains over 200 Bible Records (lists of birth, marriage, and death information recorded in North Carolina Bibles throughout the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries). The collection also contains a six-volume index of marriage and death notices that appeared in five North Carolina newspapers from 1799-1893.
North Carolina Public Health -- Provides a site covering a wide range of programs and services, all aimed toward protecting and improving the health of the people who live and work in North Carolina. Includes information such as fish consumption advisories, ozone levels, pfisteria health precautions, links to local health departments, how to get birth certificates, etc.
North Carolina State Publications Collection - The North Carolina State Publications Collection contains both current and historical state publications produced by the agencies (Department of Public Instruction, Department of Cultural Resources, etc.) of NC State Government. The types of publications include informational brochures and pamphlets, various types of reports (annual, biennial, technical, statistical, etc.), serial publications (newsletters, checklists, magazines, etc.), handbooks, studies and a variety of other information resources produced by the government. The focus of this collection is currently on newer publications from 2002 to current. In the future it will also feature historical North Carolina publications of enduring value that have been scanned from their original print format. New publications will be added to this digital collection on a monthly basis.
