Anatomy Atlas -- via Winking Skull
Offers the 2008 Atlas of Anatomy. The site includes 246 full-color illustrations from the Atlas, arranged by anatomic region, then by tissue layer (musculature, neurovasculature, bones, etc.).
Anatomy TV (National Library Alliance) -- Features interactive 3D animations such as: skeleton with bones, ligaments, muscles and vessels. Animations can also be exported from the software as short movie files.
Art & Architecture Complete (EBSCOhost) -- provides full-text coverage of 380 periodicals and more than 220 books. In addition, includes an Image Collection of over 63,000 images provided by Picture Desk and others.

Congressional Directory -- The Congressional Directory is the official directory of the U.S. Congress, prepared by the Joint Committee on Printing (JCP).
Congressional Pictorial Dictionary -- Published biennially by the Joint Committee on Printing of the U.S. Congress, the Congressional Pictorial Directory provides a color photograph of each member of the House of Representatives and the Senate. It also includes information about a Member of Congress' length of service, political party affiliations, and Congressional district. Also contains pictures of the President, Vice President, and House and Senate officers and officials.
Congressional Record -- The Congressional Record is the official record of the proceedings and debates of the United States Congress. It is published daily when Congress is in session. GPO Access contains Congressional Record volumes from 140 (1994) to the present.
Congressional Serial Set -- The U.S. Congressional Serial Set, commonly referred to as the Serial Set, contains the House and Senate Documents and the House and Senate Reports bound by session of Congress. It began publication with the 15th Congress, 1st Session (1817). Documents before 1817 may be found in the American State Papers. In general, it includes: committee reports related to bills and other matters, presidential communications to Congress, treaty materials, certain executive department publications, and certain non-governmental publications.
Consumer Health Complete (EBSCOhost) -- Designed to support the information needs of patients, and to foster an overall understanding of health-related topics, CHC provides content covering all areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated medicine. This full text database covers topics such as aging, cancer, diabetes, drugs & alcohol, fitness, nutrition & dietetics, children's health, men & women's health, etc.
County Business Patterns -- County Business Patterns is an annual series that provides subnational economic data by industry. The series is useful for studying the economic activity of small areas; analyzing economic changes over time; and as a benchmark for statistical series, surveys, and databases between economic censuses. Businesses use the data for analyzing market potential, measuring the effectiveness of sales and advertising programs, setting sales quotas, and developing budgets. Government agencies use the data for administration and planning.

CQ Weekly (CQ Press)- Expert coverage of U.S. Congress: bills, amendments, and committees.
Crime in North Carolina (Uniform Crime Report) -- Several annual statistical publications, such as the comprehensive Crime in the United States, are produced from data provided by nearly 17,000 law enforcement agencies across the United States. Other annual publications, such as Hate Crime Statistics and Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted address specialized facets of crime such as hate crime or the murder and assaults of law enforcement officers respectively. Special studies, reports, and monographs prepared using data mined from the UCR's large database are published each year as well. In addition to these reports, information about the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS), UCR Frequently Asked Questions, and UCR Incident Specific Questions are also available on this site.
Criminal Justice (ProQuest) - Detailed abstracts and indexing for over 425 U.S. and international journals from 1969 to the present day--many in full text. Topics range from alcoholism to drug abuse and from domestic violence to forensic science. A virtual library for students and professionals in law enforcement, social work, drug rehabilitation, criminal and family law, industrial security and other criminal justice fields.

European Views of the Americas: 1493 to 1750 (EBSCOhost) -- This new bibliographic database is a valuable index for libraries, scholars and individuals interested in European works that relate to the Americas. EBSCO Publishing, in cooperation with the John Carter Brown Library, has created this resource from “European Americana: A Chronological Guide to Works Printed In Europe Relating to The Americas, 1493-1750,” the authoritative bibliography that is well-known and respected by scholars worldwide. The database contains more than 32,000 entries and is a comprehensive guide to printed records about the Americas written in Europe before 1750.

JSTOR (short for Journal Storage) -- is a database service that helps researchers access archived, full-text scholarly content. Collections of digitized back issues of about 1,000 journals are made available though online subscriptions to collections (clusters of journals grouped by JSTOR). Dates of available issues are controlled by a "moving wall"—an agreed-upon delay between the current volume of the journal and the latest volume available on JSTOR—usually 3 to 5 years. Based on faculty requests, CFCC Library subscribes to two JSTOR collections : Arts & Sciences II (127 journals in economics, history, archaeology, classics, and Asian, African, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Slavic studies.), and Arts & Sciences VIII (140 journals in the core humanities disciplines of history, language, and literature; and in education, philosophy, classical studies, music, art and art history).

LISTA indexes nearly 600 periodicals plus books, research reports, and proceedings. With coverage dating back to the mid-1960s, it is the oldest continuously produced database covering the field of information science.
Literary Reference Center Plus (EBSCOhost) -- Literary Reference Center is a comprehensive literary reference database, which provides users with a broad spectrum of reference information from antiquity to the present day. NC Live eBook Portal -- With over 20,000 eBooks spread across six different collections, it can sometimes be difficult for users to explore all of the eBooks NC LIVE has to offer. The new NC LIVE eBooks Portal makes it easier for users to search across the eBook collections, and to explore individual collections that might interest them. NIH Senior Health -- NIH Senior Health makes aging-related health information easily accessible for family members and friends seeking reliable, easy to understand online health information. This site was developed by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the National Library of Medicine (NLM) both part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In addition, the American Geriatrics Society provides expert and independent review of some of the material found on this web site. Each health topic includes general background information, open-captioned videos, quizzes and frequently asked questions (FAQs). New topics are added to the site on a regular basis.

OFFSTATS - The OFFSTATS database provides access to free statistics from official sources on the web. Web links are arranged by country, region or subject. Points of View (EBSCOhost) -- full-text database designed to provide students with a series of essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. Uniform Crime Reports -- The Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program was conceived in 1929 by the International Association of Chiefs of Police to meet a need for reliable, uniform crime statistics for the nation. In 1930, the FBI was tasked with collecting, publishing, and archiving those statistics. Today, several annual statistical publications, such as the comprehensive Crime in the United States, are produced from data provided by nearly 17,000 law enforcement agencies across the United States.Other annual publications, such as Hate Crime Statistics and Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted address specialized facets of crime such as hate crime or the murder and assaults of law enforcement officers respectively.Special studies, reports, and monographs prepared using data mined from the UCR's large database are published each year as well.
