The following services are available to currently-enrolled students:

 

Technical Help

  • Student HelpDesk (Blackboard, MyCFCC, WebAdvisor)
  • Getting Started Now that you’ve registered for an online course, you need to find that course and get started.
  • Blackboard FAQ If you need some help learning to use tools in Blackboard (like the discussion board or tests).

Academic Services

  • Bookstore Official college bookstore.
  • Library (Learning Resource Center| LRC) is CFCC’s Library. Students are able to check out books and videos, study, perform research, and browse periodicals.
  • Learning Lab offers a place for students to work on computer assignments, prepare for placement tests, receive one-on-one tutoring from instructional facilitators or student tutors, and much more.
  • Online Learning provides hands-on how-to help for Blackboard tools, as well as an introduction to learning online for first time students.
  • Testing Services  manages the placement entry assessment program, administers GED testing for Continuing Education, and the Psychological Service Bureau (PSB) test for students applying for certain Health Science programs at CFCC.

Student Support Services

  • Disability Services provides accommodations for students with disabilities.  Accommodations include testing, note taking, captioning, interpreters, and more.
  • Career Services encourages and assists students and graduates in the continuous process of career planning, career decision-making, planning for marketability and job search.
  • College Transfer Advising
  • Counseling Services  is dedicated to providing current and prospective students with an enriching college experience whether you are a full-time or part-time student.
  • Registration and Records Office assists students with registration, and dropping or adding classes.
  • Veterans Services Veterans Resources Home

Other Support Services

  • Align Your Sails is oriented toward an educational focus on assisting students with their transition into the academic environment at CFCC.
  • Minority Male Mentoring (3M) Leadership Initiative Program is designed to provide strategies aimed to improve the retention and transition of minority males into college level coursework.
  • New Student Orientation Register and prepare for the New Student Orientation.
