Creating and Managing Groups in Blackboard

June 16th, 2014 by Brantley McKeithan

Course groups allow instructors and students to create groups of students within a course. These course groups have their own area in Blackboard Learn to collaborate on course work, and these spaces are equipped with tools to assist in the collaborative process. If included in a course, the course menu item Groups accesses the Groups page.

How do I ignore an attempt in the Grade Center?

June 16th, 2014 by Brantley McKeithan

To ignore an attempt, locate the assignment in the Full Grade Center.  Click the drop down arrow and select View Grade Details. On the Grade Details page click on the Ignore Attempt button. The student will now be able to resubmit.

Online Learning recommends Ignore Attempt rather than Clear Attempt. With Ignoring the Attempt, you will still have a record of all submitted files and grades.
