IT’S ON US, TO STOP SEXUAL ASSAULT

Today, it’s estimated that 1 in 5 women and 1 in 16 men on college campuses have been sexually assaulted. Just 13% of those assaults are reported; It’s On Us to change that.

Join the Cape Fear Community College Family and other colleges across the nation in signing the pledge to be part of the solution at itsonus.org. When you take the pledge, you’re recognizing that non-consensual sex is sexual assault. You’re saying you’ll identify situations in which sexual assault may occur, and you’re saying you’ll intervene, when, and if an incident does occur. You’re committing to help create an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and where survivors are supported.

Raising Awareness. Holding Ourselves Accountable. Making A Difference.

This pledge is a personal commitment to help keep women and men safe from sexual assault.

It is a promise not to be a bystander to the problem, but to be a part of the solution.
